Art silk is not silk but looks and feels like pure silk at a fraction of the cost. Instead it is a hardwearing 100% viscose that is cut and milled like silk. All Chiraz carpets are machine made and feature Oriental and Persian designs. They are made with a non-slip backing and will not creep around on polished timber flooring. All our Chiraz Art Silk carpets are imported from Belgium and are dry cleanable.
